Harvest season is one of the most exciting and exhausting times at Mumana Vineyards, and these past two weeks have been no exception. From starting with Petite Milo to wrapping up with the New York Muscat, it’s been a true team effort to bring in this year’s crop. The hard work, teamwork, and pride that come with each crate of grapes is what makes this time of year so special.

This year, we tackled five different grape varieties over eight days—sometimes working with fewer hands than we hoped for. But every person who joined us, from our core team to our volunteers, brought incredible energy and dedication. We even added a little fun to the process with a “Picker of the Day” contest, where everyone was a winner because every single effort counted.

As we prepare to move forward with the next phase of the harvest, we want to take a moment to reflect on the joy that comes from watching the vineyard come alive and the hard work of turning grapes into something even more special. We couldn’t do this without the people who make it possible, and we are so grateful for each of you.
Stay tuned for what’s next as we prepare to harvest Marquette this weekend!
